37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Amdocs has joined hands with NASSCOM Foundation to set up National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) centers in Gurgaon and Pune and train more than 3,000 under-privileged people this year to become digitally literate.
Under the NDLM digital literacy program Amdocs India will invest in training infrastructure, trainer’s cost, and other operational expenses. The centers will train less privileged people on using computers, phone, and other digital devices as well as Internet, emails, social media, e-commerce, IT security.
