DCP Ravi Varma takes charge

C Ravi Varma assumed charge as DCP of the crimes and detective department of the Hyderabad City Police. The position was previously held by G Pala Raju, who has been transferred to Andhra Pradesh. Varma has earlier worked as the Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Enforcement of the erstwhile Government of Andhra Pradesh.
