3.64 million mobile number portability requests made in November: TRAI

Requests for mobile number portability (MNP) went up by 3.64 million in November 2014, according to a Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) statement.

“In the month of November 2014, 3.64 million subscribers submitted their requests for MNP. With this, the cumulative MNP requests increased from 135.86 million at the end of October 2014 to 139.49 million at the end of November 2014,” data released by TRAI stated.
