The Constitution accords rights to children as citizens of the country. The law which promulgated in 1950, resembles with the United Nations-1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child, as it is the first legally binding international instrument to incorporate the full range of human rights: civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights. To create awareness on the same, a team from Norway, is doing a campaign at the coastal district, ‘Walk of Change’ in association with Namma Bhoomi, an NGO.
Team members led by Kjetil Utne started their campaign, from Namma Bhoomi campus at Kollur, Kundapur on March 11.
