37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Remember the famous line from the movie Eraser, “Relax, you’ve just been erased.”? How would you like that to come true? What if every single bit of your life is suddenly deleted? A Delhi-based banker has asked for just that — the ‘right to to be forgotten’ online. Upset after details of his marital dispute, which was settled in court a few years ago, kept surfacing online, he filed a plea for his personal details to be removed from online search engines. The Delhi high court opened up the issue for legal scrutiny, and sought the response of the Centre, Google, and an online law compendium on the matter.
