37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
The Pentagon’s Centcom had a surprise yesterday when its Twitter account was hacked by alleged Islamic State Cyber Operatives. According to a Reuters report, the Twitter and YouTube accounts for the US military command that oversees operations in the Middle East were hacked on Monday by people claiming to be sympathetic toward the Islamic State militant group being targeted in American bombing raids. While the incident was dismissed as an Internet prank there have been a series of far more serious cyber incidents that should be a wake up call to India.
