Odisha government to set up an Innovation Project Monitoring Unit under State Innovation Council

The State government will set up an Innovation Project Monitoring Unit under State Innovation Council to foster the environment of innovation, document the best practices, and facilitate their replication and upscaling. A direction to this effect came at a high-level meeting on ‘Innovations in Public Systems’ held at the state secretariat on Thursday. Stressing on innovative practices in delivery of public services and running of public systems, chief secretary GC Pati asked principal secretary (General Administration) Niten Chandra to take necessary steps towards constitution of IPMU.
