Govt. of India Setting Up New Center For Botnet Cleaning & Malware Analysis

Digital India program is getting stronger with every passing month. Government officials working on this project have taken an initiative for analysis of malware and cleaning of botnets so that device owners can remove malicious software for free and have a more secure experience while using various services. Botnet (a word short for robot and network) is a term used to denote the network of internet connected computers that start spam attack or DDoS (Denial of Service) attacks. The Government of India is setting up this centre within the next three months. Engineers from the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (ICERT) will be working on this national cyber security project to ensure that there’s a safe cyber environment for all citizens of India.
