37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
COSMOS monitors online attendance of teachers and students in schools, which are tracked on administrative website, mobile app and tablets of COSMOS through biometric device. For this biometric devices are installed in several schools and a target has been set to install them in all 2054 government schools of Balrampur district to monitor the regularity of teachers and students, along with tracking the data of continuation of enrolled students starting from their graph of ‘aanganwadi’ to high school.
Developed by Raipur based software company Noybl.in, its more than a finger print device as it provides online hourly updates of login to logout timings of staff and students, while virtually connects them to hierarchy of collector, district education officer, block education officer and others.
