Amidst the ongoing debate on Net Neutrality, India played host to world-famous Economist and Libertarian Theorist David D Friedman.
A staunch advocate of free markets, Mr. Friedman was on a trip to India recently with talks in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. His main field of work has been market anarchist theory. This was also the subject of his famous book ‘Machinery of Freedom’ wherein he argues that all goods and services can be produced in the market, including the law.
Explaining his views on Net Neutrality, David D Friedman told Niti Central that Net Neutrality is not a good idea. He says it is desirable that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) should be able to sell different services at different prices.
