Digital locker to be password protected

Public feedback on the ‘Digital Locker’ concept and its implementation will be sought before the release of the final version. R.S. Sharma, secretary, department of electronics and IT, said that the Digital Locker would be linked to the Aadhaar card and citizens could store their government issued documents and certificates on the cloud. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is developing the security and software for this application.
