Expert urges govt to tap students for cyber security solutions

Well-known cyber security expert Rakshit Tandon has urged the government to utilise the services of students who have tremendous talent in providing cyber security solutions and are ready to voluntarily help in identifying the weaknesses in the government websites.

Delivering a talk on emerging cyber threats during the e-governance leadership meet organised by the Goa government in city hotel on Tuesday, Tandon said, “Some private firms offer bounty for finding flaws in its software however there are a number of Indian students, who are talented in cyber security, and ready to do it free of costs for the government.”
