Good Governance Initiatives by MSME

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) has been playing an important role in socio economic development of the country. In terms of value, the sector contributes around 8% of GDP and accounts for around 40% of the total exports and around 45% of the manufacturing output.  Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, underlines his ministry’s key initiatives and explains why the growth of small and medium enterprises is key to the government’s efforts to boost growth.
