Legislation in works to protect privacy breach: Govt: New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) Government is working on a new legislation that will provide protection to individuals from breach of privacy, Minister of State for Law and IT PP Chaudhary informed Parliament today. “Government is in the process of drafting a legislation that will provide protection to individuals in case their privacy is breached through unlawful means, which is at consultation stage at present,” Chaudhary said in a written statement in Rajya Sabha.
