Telangana, AP varsities lag behind Digital India project

While Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been pitching hard for the Digital India project, universities and institutes in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have not taken a cognizance of it. The University Grants Commission (UGC), as part of the Digital India project, had asked all State Universities and institutes to submit the status of information technology penetration in their varsities.
