37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
A naval dock employee from Worli was defrauded of Rs 89,000 by a man claiming to be the manager of State Bank of India where he had an account. The first fraudulent transaction happened on December 3 after which the dock employee’s son changed his ATM pin but efforts to get his card blocked through the bank’s customer care helpline came to a naught as there was no response.
